Kelli McLoud-Schingen is President of KMS Intercultural Consulting. She is a facilitator/trainer who specializes in Domestic Diversity, Dramatic Presentations, Cross-Cultural Communication, Healing Racism, Conflict Resolution/Mediation, and Teambuilding. She has facilitated development workshops, trainings and dramatic presentations since 1989 for educational, non-profit, government and corporate institutions in the USA and internationally.
A professional mediator certified by the State of Texas, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Aurora University and a Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural Studies from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Additionally, she is a certified administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), a cross cultural development measurement tool.
Kelli is also an accomplished actor and director with several theatrical credits to her name as a result of performances in Chicago, Minneapolis, Houston and Oxford, England. She employs these skills in her dramatic and narrative presentations.
Kelli's clients have included Shell Oil, The Texas Historical Commission, The City of Helsinki, Finland, Dallas and Fort Worth Independent School Districts, San Diego State University and Drake University, to name a few. With these institutions she assisted with the vision and mission in order to develop a strategic plan to address the issue of inclusion and cultural competence.
Kelli is the immediate Past President of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR) - Houston, a member of SIETAR Europa and a Board Member for SIETAR- USA. She is also an active member and facilitator for the Center for the Healing of Racism.
Kelli is committed to cross-cultural understanding and to doing her part to affect global change.
